Pregnancy and Exercise

Pregnancy can cause you to be tired and aching in places you didn't even know could ache. You may feel like now is not the time to walk the dog or pop in the yoga DVD, but exercise actually has many positive effects on pregnancy.


Exercise can:

  • Ease pains
  • Boost energy and mood
  • Help you sleep better
  • Prevent excess weight gain
  • Increase stamina and muscle strength
